The  150-F480NBR is an SMC Flex Smart Motor Controller. This is a powerful soft starter which can handle motors up to 400 Hp rated (at 460 Volts AC). The armature of the controller should be connected to 200 to 460 Volts AC 3-phase, 50 to 60 Hertz input line voltage. The device can deliver 480 Amperes to the motor. Control power input terminals can be connected to both 24V AC and 24V DC voltage. This device will help save energy and reduce mechanical stress to the motor by applying one of its many control methods, including soft start, current limit, full voltage, dual ramp, preset slow speed, kickstart, or linear speed. The main features of the 150-F480NBR motor controller include an SCR bypass contactor, electronic motor overload protection, a metering capability, a DPI communication feature, and four programmable auxiliary contacts. It has an integrated HMI. It is an LCD display with a numeric keypad. This SMC-FLEX device is programmed via this built-in HMI, but it also can be programmed with optional 20-HMI LCD Human-Modules Interfaces.
