The 1762-L40BXBR is a Programmable Controller (PLC) that is part of the controller family. This controller has a total of 40 I/O channels, specifically Twenty (20) 24VDC sink / source inputs, Four (4) fast 24VDC inputs, Eight (8) relay, Seven (7) 24VDC FET and One (1) High-speed 24VDC FET outputs. Additionally, it has Two (2) Trim Potentiometers that may be configured to modify internal and memory registers for simulation and control purposes.

The 1762-L40BXBR has a compact assembly that supports installation of up to Six (6) 1762 expansion I/O modules. This controller also comes with Two (2) communication ports particularly One (1) programming port and One (1) primary communication interface. The primary communication interface may be used for interfacing with Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory and Control Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, gateways, converters and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IED). It may be used in micro and small applications in a wide variety of industries.

The 1762-L40BXBR has an operating temperature requirement of +0°C to +55°C (+32°F to +131°F) ambient and storage temperature of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) ambient with relative humidity of 5% to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). This controller supports panel or DIN rail mounting with operating vibration of 10 to 500 Hz, 5G, 0.030 in. max. peak-to-peak, 2 hours each axis and shock rating of 30G; 3 pulses each direction, each axis.
