The 1769-L36ERM is a Controller that manufactured . This controller supports Ethernet communication through the embedded Two (2) Ethernet ports and Serial protocol through the RS232 communication port. This controller supports local expansion modules and it capable of implementing control of local and distributed I/O modules. The 1769-L36ERM Controller may be used with 1769-SDN to allow access to different I/O modules such as digital, analog, and high-speed counter modules in the network. It comes with 3 MB of internal memory and it can support a 1 or 2 GB SD memory card. It ships with a 1 GB SD card. The  1769-L36ERM Controller is able to operate in environments where the temperature range is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and where there is a relative humidity range of 5 to 95% without condensation. It is important to follow these requirements in order to extend the life of the controller and at the same time provide safety operations.

The 1769-L36ERM Controller can support up to 32 continuous tasks and 100 programmable tasks. The programming languages used by the 1769-L36ERM Controller are the relay ladder, structured text, functions block. and the SFC. The 1769-L36ERM Controller requires a 24 Volts DC digital input.
