The 1797-RPFM is an module that belong to the Flex Ex modules. This module is ControlNet Ex Fiber Repeater Module. It is used in combination with a repeater media adapter, to form a repeater hub that is approved for installation Hazardous application areas. This module enables extension of ControlNet Ex segments, allowing other nodes to connect to the existing Controlnet network.

This module has Two (2) Fiber links channels with allowable Fiber media length of 3 Km. The embedded fiber port is appropriately used with 62.5…125 mm fiber type and connector type of ST (plastic or ceramic). The module’s fiber optic wavelength is 1300 nm and Optical Power Budget is 13.3 dB.
