The MVAJ101RA0802A is a rugged, hinged-armature, self-reset tripping relay in the MVAJ product family from GE Grid Solutions (formerly AREVA/Alstom). It is designed to interface between protection devices and circuit breakers, providing high-reliability operation of breaker trip coils or other switchgear control functions. The MVAJ101RA0802A unit supports fast operating time, minimal contact bounce, and selectable burden modes (high or low) to suit wiring distance and system fault-current conditions. Typical applications include transformer inter-tripping, fault isolation in high-/medium-voltage substations, and general auxiliary relay functions in protection schemes.
