The DSE8660 MKII is an advanced and versatile single or multi-mains controller with automatic transfer switch (ATS) capability, designed to synchronize and manage multiple generator sets in parallel with one or more utility (mains) supplies. This module ensures seamless power transitions between the utility and generator supply, supporting no-break power solutions, as well as peak lopping and peak shaving to optimize energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. The DSE8660 MKII is ideal for applications where uninterrupted power and grid stability are crucial.

This control module is capable of managing and synchronizing single or multiple DSE8610 MKII and DSE8680 MKII controllers, providing automated control over the changeover process. It can operate generators in synchronization with the mains supply to provide continuous power, whether in standby or parallel mode. The module offers a user-friendly LCD display that indicates operational status and fault conditions, with support for multiple languages. Alerts are provided via illuminated LEDs, an audible sounder, and SMS messaging, ensuring prompt notification of any system issues.

For remote monitoring and control, the DSE8660 MKII includes comprehensive communication options such as RS232, RS485, and Ethernet, allowing integration with building management systems (BMS) and PC-based control systems. The module’s event log records up to 250 events, facilitating system diagnostics and maintenance planning. The DSE PC Configuration Suite Software allows for easy modification of sequences, timers, and alarms, while front-panel configuration is also available for on-site adjustments. With the ability to support multiple communication ports simultaneously, the DSE8660 MKII is well-suited for demanding load share applications that require flexibility, reliability, and continuous performance.
