The KONGSBERG SPBUS-HUB operates at a steady 24 VDC power supply, with an input voltage range between 18–32 VDC, offering flexibility to fit a variety of industrial configurations. Despite its high-performance capabilities, the module maintains a low power consumption of just 10 W. It’s a highly efficient solution for systems requiring continuous operation while minimizing energy costs. With a communication speed of up to 1 Mbps, the SPBUS-HUB ensures fast and reliable data transfer, ideal for real-time monitoring and control.

Flexible and Expandable Communication Ports

The SPBUS-HUB module comes equipped with 4 to 8 serial ports that support RS-485/RS-422 differential signaling, allowing it to handle multiple communication protocols simultaneously. This extensive I/O capability makes it adaptable to a wide range of industrial systems, enhancing connectivity between various devices and controllers. 

Built for Harsh Industrial Environments

Designed with durability in mind, the KONGSBERG SPBUS-HUB features an industrial-grade aluminum housing that protects the module from environmental stresses. It operates efficiently in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +60°C, ensuring stable performance in challenging conditions. Additionally, the module is capable of withstanding storage temperatures between -40°C and +85°C. With its ability to endure up to 95% non-condensing humidity, the SPBUS-HUB is perfectly suited for demanding industrial environments where reliability is critical.

Compact and Easy Integration

The KONGSBERG SPBUS-HUB is built to be both compact and lightweight, with dimensions of 200 mm x 150 mm x 50 mm and a weight of just 2–3 kg. This compact form factor allows for straightforward installation in control panels, while its IP20 ingress protection ensures safe operation in environments that may expose it to dust and debris.
