The MTL 8615-FT-4W is a 4-wire field terminal designed for use with PAC8000 I/O systems to provide a robust, reliable interface between field-mounted sensors/actuators and industrial I/O modules. It supports current sinking configurations, allowing direct termination of field wiring into the terminal block, which then snaps securely onto a PAC8000 carrier with the I/O module mounted above it. This field terminal simplifies wiring, enhances signal integrity, and supports installations in general and hazardous environments (Zone 2 / Class I Division 2). Its rugged thermoplastic construction and mechanical keying help prevent incorrect module installation and improve safety in industrial applications.
