The MYNAH VIM‑4201 Virtual I/O Module (also known as Emerson/DeltaV VIM‑4201) is a compact, factory-programmed I/O interface designed for use with DeltaV distributed control systems.  It emulates up to four virtual DeltaV serial cards, enabling the controller to communicate over Ethernet using Modbus TCP/IP or Ethernet/IP protocols.  Powered via the DeltaV backplane at 5 V DC drawing up to 750 mA, it mounts alongside the controller on a 2-wide or vertical carrier.The module supports network redundancy—with automatic switchover—and can integrate up to 32 Ethernet-connected devices in simplex mode (or 16 in redundant setups).It typically consumes 4 W (max 5.4 W) and operates reliably in temperatures from 0 °C to 60 °C, with mounting, environmental resistances, LED diagnostics, and networking functionalities detailed in the official product bulletin.
