TRIO DIODE is a DIN rail-mounted redundancy module from the TRIO POWER product family.

By using a redundancy module, 2 power supply modules of the same type can be connected in parallel on the output side to increase the output power or to achieve redundancy, 100% isolated from each other.

Redundant systems are suitable for systems with high requirements on operational reliability. The connected power supplies must be powerful enough to ensure that the current of all loads can be met by just one power supply. The redundant structure of the power supply ensures the long-term availability of the system.

If an internal device or the main power supply of the main unit fails, the other device automatically assumes the supply of all loads without interruption. Floating signaling contacts and LEDs immediately indicate the loss of redundancy.
