The MVI56E-MCMR is a single slot module that directly installs to any 1756 chassis.This enhanced Modbus master/slave communication module can be stored at a temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit), but it can be used only at a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).

The MVI56E-MCMR is a ProSoft Technology communication module, an encompass partner company. This module supports MODBUS Serial / ASCII communication and comes with dual RS232 serial application ports. These ports support RS232 / RS485 and RS422 electrical standards with configurable baud rate of 110 baud to 115.2 kbps.
