The MVI56-MNETmodule acts as an input/output module between theModbus TCP/IP network and the Automationbackplane. The data transfer from the processor isasynchronous from the actions on the Modbus TCP/IPnetwork. A 5000-word register space in the moduleexchanges data between the processor and the ModbusTCP/IP network.
