The MVI69E-MBTCP communicates with MODBUS compatible devices, acting also as a communication module between the bus network and the backplane. The cable recommended for Ethernet connection is a category 5 or higher.
The MVI69E-MBTCP has power supply distance rating of 4. When used with 1769-L43 and 1769-L45, install the MVI69E-MBTCP on the first Two (2) slots of the 1769 bus. The MVI69E-MBTCP comes with One (1) RJ45 communication port that supports 10/100 Base-T Ethernet data rate. It also requires used of ProSoft Configuration Builder and ProSoft Discovery Service. |
