Description：

The 9470/32 digital input/output module for Zone 1 has 16 channels which can be used in pairs forEx ioperation as inputs for contacts and NAMUR proximity switches (EN 60947-5-6) or as outputsfor indicator lamps and low-power solenoid valves. Eight inputs can be used for frequencies of upto 20 kHz, and four can be used for detecting the direction of rotation.All inputs/outputs are short-circuit proof and galvanically separated from the system.

The 9470/32-16-11 module features intrinsically safe Ex ia IIC circuits, line fault monitoring, galvanic isolation, and individual channel status and fault LEDs. It supports frequency measurement up to 20 kHz, directional rotation detection, and up/down counting functions. Designed for maximum system availability, the module can be hot-swapped in Zone 1 without disconnecting power. All channels are short-circuit protected and isolated from the system, ensuring reliable operation in safety-critical applications.
