This 6GK1561-1AA01 card was widely used in legacy industrial setups, particularly in conjunction with SIMATIC NET software (V8.2) for configuration and network communication tasks. It does not support very old operating systems (e.g., Windows 9x), and newer applications are recommended to use its successor module 6GK1561‑2AA00.
