The Woodward 8440-1947 Controller LS5 521 is a reliable and efficient device designed to manage synchronization, loading, and unloading on each bus segment. This controller sends the required voltage and frequency references via CAN bus to the easYgen-3400/3500 genset controllers, simplifying the wiring process with only one CAN bus connection needed between all LS-5 and easYgen-3400/3500 controllers. The LS-5 devices, located on the incoming mains breakers, automatically detect mains failures and start the corresponding gensets, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
Additionally, the LS-5 Controller offers extensive remote control capabilities through discrete inputs or interfaces, allowing for easy integration into various application environments. The back panel mounted LS-521 features a rugged aluminum chassis, making it suitable for use in harsh environments or confined spaces. With its user-friendly design and reliable performance, this controller provides a seamless solution for managing power systems effectively.
