The 150-F135NBDB soft starter is product of for use in efficient control of motor through solid-state components and microprocessor technology.  This product belongs to the Smart Motor Controllers (SMC) products.

When selecting an appropriate motor for this soft starter, the motor Full Load Current (FLA) must be within the current range of the soft starter.  Ideally, the soft starter should be slightly higher or 30% higher than the motor’s FLA.  Consideration should be applied for motors with high starting current or motors with Ten times higher than the motor FLA.

The 150-F135NBDB does not come with a terminal lug.  A terminal lug is ideal for use when terminating wire to this device to ensure adequate torque to avoid vibration, sparks and heat among wire connections.  Terminal lug kits for line and delta connections are available as an accessory.

This device is especially made compatible for pump control applications.  This product aids in reducing fluid surges during start-up and stopping of pumping system that uses centrifugal pumps.  Adjustable starting time is provided with range of 0 to 30 seconds while stopping time is adjustable from 0 to 120 Seconds.
