The 150-F780NBEB is a solid-state controller with a circuit breaker and an IP65 (Type 4/12) enclosure. The work of this controller is to reduce the starting torque surge which is often experienced in standard across-the-line starting. The 150-F780NBEB comes with the soft start feature that minimizes the starting torque flow by offering smooth and stepless motor acceleration and at the same time reduces the damage to the gears, the couplings, and the belts. The 150-F780NBEB also has the soft stop feature which extends the stopping time to minimize the chances of the load shifting or spilling as the machine stops. The soft start feature also has a selectable kickstart alternative that provides an additional torque pulse that is best used when overcoming stalling during loads with high friction.
