The 1753-L32BBBM-8A is a Safety Controller from GuardPLC 1800 series. This controller has the most I/O points among GuardPLC controllers. It is equipped with 32 I/O points (24 inputs and 8 outputs, none of which are electrically isolated). Output channels 4 and 8 can withstand 1 Amp of current at 60 degrees Celsius and the other channels are 0.5 Amps rated. The 1753-L32BBBM-8A controller also has 2 (not electrically isolated) high-speed counters with a 24-bit resolution. There are 250 KB of user program memory and 250 KB of application data memory installed to support microprocessor in fault processing. This device will detect a fault in their controlling system behavior and put all affected inputs and outputs from the faulty module to the safety state.

The special feature of the 1753-L32BBBM-8A GuardPLC 1800 controller is the Modbus Communication option. Users can exchange signal values and other data with another industrial devices by using this communication protocol. The 1753-L32BBBM-8A is designed to be connected to a 24 Volts DC/8 Amps power source. It is shipped in an IP20 protected housing with dimensions of 114 millimeters (4.49 inches) x 257 millimeters (10.1 inches) x 80 millimeters (3.15 inches) including the shield plate. Its weight is approximated at 2.6 pounds (1.2 kilograms). Do not use this device outside of the 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) temperature range.
