Ethernet/IP technology allows devices to connect and communicate with each other through a linear network switch. This technology offers different alternatives to connect devices that incorporate the use of switches.
The 1783-ETAP Ethernet/IP network embedded switch allows the users to connect devices that are not compatible with switch technology to a linear network. It contains 2 network ports made of copper that allow for a connection between the socket and linear networks. It is only necessary to program 1 of these sockets as a ring supervisor. |
