Description
ABB EtherCAT Adapter for ACS355, ACH580, ACSM1, ACS850, ACQ810, ACS880 Inverters and DCS880 DC Thytristor Drives. Adds +K469
EtherCAT is a Real Time EtherNet technology which aims to maximize the use of the full duplex EtherNet bandwidth. An EtherCAT bus consists of a master system and up to 65535 slave devices, connected together with standard EtherNet cabling.
The module plugs into a specific option slot on the inverter. Plastic pins, a lock, and a screw hold the module in place. The screw also makes an electrical connection between the module and the frame of the drive for terminating the cable shield.
This can be fitted with MTAC-01 and MREL-01 options, but not with the MPOT-01.
