The Honeywell 2MLR-DBSHS (often listed as 2MLR-DBSHS-CC) is an expansion driver (interface module) designed for use with the Honeywell PLC system. It provides a hybrid communication path supporting both twisted-pair copper (TP) and single-mode fiber-optic (FO) links, enabling scalable I/O expansion over long distances. This module is suited to industrial control environments where reliable remote I/O bases are required. The “S-Core” dual-path topology (for some variants) supports redundancy, and the module is often available in a version with G3-grade conformal coating to withstand harsh industrial conditions.
