The TQ401, EA401, and IQS450 together form a proximity measurement system from Meggitt’s vibro-meter® product line. This system enables contactless measurement of the relative displacement of moving machine components.

The TQ4xx-based proximity measurement systems are especially well-suited for monitoring the relative vibration and axial position of rotating machine shafts. Typical applications include steam, gas, and hydraulic turbines, as well as alternators, turbocompressors, and pumps.
