The 1762-IF4 module supports 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire transmitter configuration. During troubleshooting, users should always stand away from the equipment and always check it for any program change. Safety circuits should always be wired in series to the master relay.The 1762-IF4 module should be installed in non-hazardous, dry, and clean environments with circuits not crossing overvoltage Category II standards. To avoid damage to the module, always prevent electrostatic discharge and remove power. 

The 1762-IF4 is an MicroLogix 1200 with a 4-channel current/voltage analog input module. It has a Delta-Sigma converter and 4 differential (bipolar) inputs. Its analog operating voltage range is -10 to 10 Volts DC normal and -10.5 to 10.5 Volt DC full-scale. Its analog operating current range is 4 to 20 mA normal and -21 to 21 mA at full scale.
