The EPRO PR9268/300-000 Eddy Current Sensor, paired with a signal converter CoN, forms an oscillator circuit. The proximity of a metallic object in front of the transducer causes the amplitude of oscillation to decrease, with the extent of this decrease directly related to the distance between the transducer and the object being measured. Both the transducer and converter come pre-adjusted, eliminating the need for on-site calibration. Simply adjust the gap between the transducer and the object to achieve the desired signal at the converter output. Customers rely on the EPRO PR9268/300-000 Eddy Current Sensor for precise and efficient measurement of distance from metallic objects. The pre-adjusted transducer and converter eliminate time-consuming and costly on-site calibrations, saving both time and money.
