The IC695ACC403-AA energy pack is a GE Fanuc-manufactured energy pack. It is compatible with the GE RX3i PacSystem modules. It is an intelligent platform device that has been designed to operate in a Class I Division 2 rated environment. It has been listed with the cULus and CE standards. The energy pack runs with a voltage of 24 Volts DC and it requires a 72 Watts SELV power supply. Connection to the energy pack is made by using 18 AWG copper wire for frame ground. The IC695ACC403-AA energy pack is used in conjunction with the controller to save the user memory in case of power outages and fluctuations. It uses non-volatile RAM to store its contents. When the power is restored, the information can be restored easily from the RAM. During the installation, the energy pack should be well-grounded and the ground wires must be kept as short as possible at the grounding point.
