The IC755CSS06RDA-AJ is a QuickPanel+ operator terminal that is formerly manufactured by GE Intelligent platforms (GE IP), now under Emerson .  This operator terminal is mainly used for implementing real-time machine or process visualization as this Human Machine Interface (HMI) can be downloaded with a custom designed graphics that represents the monitoring and control points of the system.  This provides a highly-customizable interface that suits the requirement of the application.  The IC755CSS06RDA-AJ is a has a 6-inch Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.  Along this colored screen are an array of analog-resistive touch cells that allows direct input of operator commands such as navigation, modifying of variables, control commands and other configurable actions.  To send and receive data to and from the partner Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), this HMI has built-in One (1) RJ45 port for Ethernet I/P connectivity that supports 10/100 mbps transmission speed at maximum cable distance of 100 meters per segment.  It also has One (1) 5-pin RS232 port that can be used for a maximum cable distance of 15 meters.  Aside from communication interfaces, the IC755CSS06RDA-AJ has a total of Three (3) USB ports that is comprised of two (2) USB 2.0 Type A and one (1) USB 2.0 mini type-B interface.  It is also provided with a removable storage card that is compatible for SD / SDHC card slot.  This HMI has a Windows Compact Embedded 7 operating system that provides a user-friendly configuration environment.  This operating system also enables some standard windows tools and networking capabilities such as command prompt, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and SNTP server.
