System inputs to the I/O pack are facilitated through dual RJ-45 Ethernet connectors and a 3-pin power input. For visual diagnostics, the module is equipped with indicator LEDs. In terms of excitation control, the ARCNET configuration allows for the use of a single PIOA in the C core for simplex applications or a single PIOA in both the R and C cores for redundant applications.
