The Bently Nevada 106765-03 is a premium, industrial-grade 2-wire shielded interconnect cable assembly. It is engineered specifically for heavy-duty machinery protection and condition monitoring systems. This specialized cable serves as the critical data link between the Bently Nevada 330525 Velomitor XA (Extended Application) piezo-velocity sensor and central monitoring frameworks, such as the Bently Nevada 3500 or 1900 series racks. The -03 suffix designates a precise, factory-terminated length of 3.0 meters (approximately 9.8 feet). This length is optimized for direct, low-latency routing from assets to nearby field junction boxes, ensuring absolute signal integrity for sensitive dynamic vibration data.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Bently Nevada 106765-03?

It is a heavy-duty, 2-wire shielded interconnect cable used to transmit vibration data.

What is the operating temperature range for the 106765-03?

It is rated for harsh environments from -34°C to +121°C (-30°F to +250°F).

What is the characteristic impedance of the cable?

The nominal characteristic impedance of the cable is 100 Ohms.

Is this specific model (-03) armored?

The base 106765-03 is unarmored. Armored variants usually feature a different option suffix or part modification.

What is the minimum bend radius for routing this cable?

The minimum bend radius is 50 mm (approx. 2 inches) to prevent internal conductor damage.

Product Applications

Power Industry: Vibration monitoring of bearing housings and casings in large steam turbines, water turbines, and generator sets in power plants.

Oil and Gas Industry: Condition monitoring of centrifugal compressors, large fans, and pumps in oil refineries and natural gas pipelines.

Chemical Industry: Transmission of mechanical vibration signals in harsh environments such as high temperature, high humidity, or corrosive gases in petrochemical plants.

Metallurgy and Manufacturing: Early fault warning and protection for rotating machinery such as large fans, motors, and gearboxes in steel plants.
