The Velomitor CT Transducer is capable of measuring vibration amplitudes at the operating frequencies of the fan assemblies, as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

However, it's crucial to install the accelerometer transducer correctly, either on the bearing housing or machine casing. Improper installation may lead to reduced amplitude and frequency response, or result in false signals that do not accurately reflect the machine's vibration.

For proper installation, always refer to the relevant instruction manuals and Application Notes. If needed, Bently Nevada offers engineering services to help identify the correct machine housing measurements and provide installation assistance.
