The Bently Nevada 31000-26-05-20-041-01-02 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly is a durable, externally mounted housing designed to protect and support proximity probes installed through machine casings in rotating machinery monitoring systems. It is commonly used with 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes for accurate radial vibration and Keyphasor® measurements on turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and other critical rotating equipment. The 31000/32000 Series is specifically recommended for through-case installations where secure probe mounting and easy maintenance access are required.

The 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies fully comply with the requirements of API 670 for externally mounted proximity probe housings. When installed with an approved transducer system and appropriate intrinsic safety barriers, they are suitable for intrinsically safe hazardous-area applications. Unlike the 21000 and 24701 Series, however, the 31000 housing is intended for mechanical and environmental protection and is not an explosion-proof enclosure.
