The Bently-Nevada 3300XL 8MM Proximity Probe is a high-performance sensor used in the monitoring of machinery vibrations and shaft displacements. Designed to work as part of the 3300 XL Proximity Transducer System, the 3300XL 8MM Proximity Probe provides precise and reliable measurements for industrial machinery, enabling condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. It is specifically built to handle harsh operating conditions and high-precision measurement requirements in a variety of industries, including power generation, oil and gas, chemical processing, and manufacturing. The Bently Nevada 3300 XL Proximity Probe delivers the most advanced performance in the eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8mm 5-metre system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 670 Standard (4th Edition) for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. The 3 parts of the system must have consistent electrical lengths. The electrical length of the proximity probe plus the electrical length of the extension cable must equal the electrical length of the Proximitor. Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward-compatible and interchangeable with other non-XL 3300 series 5mm and 8mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5mm probe, for applications in which an 8mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.
