Theseconnectors require only finger-tight torque (the connectors will click when tight), and thespecially-engineered locking mechanismprevents the connectors from loosening. Theseconnectors require no special tools forinstallation or removal.
You can order the 3300 XL 8 mm probes andextension cables with connector protectorsalready installed. We can also supplyconnector protectors separately for fieldinstallations (such as when an applicationmust run the cable through restrictive conduit)We recommend connector protectors for allinstallations to provide increasedenvironmental protection8.
