When combined with a 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and XLextension cable, the system provides an output voltage thatis directly proportional to the distance between the probe tipand the observed conductive surface. The system canmeasure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) data.Its primary use is in vibration and position measurementapplications on fluid-film bearing machines, as well asKeyphasor measurement and speed measurementapplications6.
