Q1: What does "MOD:145004-09" mean?

It means the sensor is factory-calibrated for ASTM A276 Type 410 Stainless Steel targets. Standard models only read AISI 4140 carbon steel. Using a standard sensor on a 410 stainless shaft causes severe measurement errors.

Q2: Can I use this 5.0m sensor with a 9.0m probe or cable?

No. The -05 suffix locks the internal tuning to a 5.0-meter total loop length. You must use a matching 5.0m probe and cable combination (e.g., 1.0m probe + 4.0m cable) to prevent scale factor distortion.

Q3: Does the "X1" option require external mounting insulation?

No. The X1 housing has a built-in, electrically isolated 35mm DIN rail clip. It snaps directly onto standard metallic rails without risking electrical ground loops.

Q4: Why is my sensor's linear range compressed during testing?

Check your input voltage. The system requires a stable -23.5 Vdc to -24 Vdc supply. If the voltage drops closer to -18 Vdc, the sensor stays on but its linear tracking window contracts.
