IC693ALG442

The GE Fanuc IC693ALG442 is an analog I/O module of GE Fanuc series 90-30 PLC systems. It has four input and two output channels. Power supply for this module is the typical +5VDC supply from the CPU with a maximum 95mA current and an external supply combined. The external power supply for this module has a typical value of 24 VDC but can vary from 20 to 30 VDC. Warning: Connecting this module to a baseplate while power is on is dangerous and may damage the components of the system. This module must be installed in a metal enclosure with external wiring. 

There are six types of I/O modules for series 90-30 of GE Fanuc PLCs. These are either Discrete or Analog modules. Generally, Analog modules can be of Analog input type only, Analog output only, or have a combination of input and output channels. This type of module is combined input/output. Data within %AI and %AQ record analog values that are used by the PLC. The number of modules that can be installed on a system depends on %AI, %AQ, and %I references available.
