The IC693CPU372 communication module features 2048 input/output points and it provides a memory capacity of 240 kilobytes. Like most of the similar components from the series, this module has an 80386EX type processor and it is meant to be used on a 32-bit system. The unit supports communication through popular networks like the 100BaseTX IEEE 802.3 and 10BaseT networks. For these purposes, the unit includes 2 shielded Ethernet ports with auto-sensing capabilities. The unit has a pair of Ethernet connectors, a “Station Manager” function connector, LED status indicators, a main switch, and a restart button. The IC693CPU372 
module supports floating point math, the duplex mode, easy configuration and programming, and an SRTP server option. The processor of the IC693CPU372 module works on 133 Megahertz and it supports either RAM or Flash memory for storage. The unit operates with a backup battery and it requires 7.4 Watts at 5 Volts DC.
