Bently Nevada offers two all-metal Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies for external mounting of proximity probes: the 21000 Aluminum Probe Housing Assembly and the 24701 Stainless Steel Probe Housing Assembly. These housing assemblies include the following components:
A dome cover that screws into the housing body
Threaded ports for conduit connections
A probe sleeve available in optional lengths
O-rings for secure sealing
A reverse-mount proximity probe
A thread seal for enhanced protection
Optional conduit fittings for flexible installation
An optional standoff adapter for mounting adjustments
Using a proximity probe housing provides external access to the proximity probe and its extension cable. This allows for easy gap adjustment or probe replacement without the need to disassemble the machine, simplifying maintenance and improving uptime.
