Bently Nevada offers two all-metal Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies for external mounting of proximity probes: the 21000 Aluminum Probe Housing Assembly and the 24701 Stainless Steel Probe Housing Assembly. These housing assemblies consist of several key components, including:
A dome cover that screws into the housing body
Threaded ports for conduit connections
A probe sleeve available in optional lengths
O-rings for sealing
A reverse-mount proximity probe
A thread seal for additional protection
Optional conduit fittings
An optional standoff adapter
Using a proximity probe housing provides external access to the proximity probe and its extension cable, allowing for easy gap adjustments or probe replacement without the need to disassemble the machine, which enhances operational convenience and reduces downtime.
