You can order hazardous area approvedproximity probes with 21000 aluminum and24701 stainless steel housings for intrinsicallysafe applications. Both housings are certifiedas CSA Type 4 enclosures and are fullycompliant with the American PetroleumInstitute's (API) 670 Standard for externallymounted proximity probe housings.
The 164818 Compact Proximity Probe Housing isalso available for applications with spacerestrictions. Ceramic capped probes are available with the 164818 housing.
