The Bently Nevada 21000-28-05-00-076-04-02 is a 21000 Series Proximity Probe Housing Assembly designed for externally mounted proximity probe installations. As part of the 21000 housing family, it provides a protective housing configuration for proximity probes used in industrial machinery monitoring applications.
The 21000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly is available with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approval. The housing is rated explosion proof for hazardous areas, supporting installations where approved equipment is required because of hazardous operating conditions.
For intrinsically safe applications, hazardous-area-approved proximity probes can be ordered with the 21000 aluminum housing. This provides a defined housing option for proximity probe installations requiring both hazardous-area approval and intrinsically safe operation.
The related 24701 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly provides a stainless steel housing option. Like the 21000 housing, hazardous-area-approved proximity probes can be ordered with the 24701 housing for intrinsically safe applications.
