The Bently Nevada 330101-00-28-90-02-00 is a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe designed for use as part of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System. Within the complete system, the probe works with the corresponding extension cable and Proximitor® Sensor to provide non-contact measurement between the probe tip and a conductive target surface.
The 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System produces an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. This proportional relationship enables the system to measure changes in the probe-to-target distance and provide the corresponding electrical output.
The system is capable of measuring both static and dynamic values. Static measurements represent position, while dynamic measurements represent vibration, allowing the same transducer system to support multiple machinery measurement functions.
