The Bently Nevada 330104-00-13-10-02-00 is a 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe designed for use as part of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System. It operates together with a compatible extension cable and Proximitor® Sensor as part of the complete eddy current proximity transducer system.
The 3300 XL 8 mm system represents the advanced performance level of Bently Nevada's eddy current proximity transducer systems. Its system architecture is designed to provide consistent performance across the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor® Sensor.
The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system is fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute (API) 670 Standard, 4th Edition. This compliance establishes defined requirements for the performance and configuration of the complete transducer system.

A: 330104 comes with a stainless steel armored sleeve protecting the coaxial cable from physical damage. 330103 is the unarmored version with a bare Teflon cable. Their internal electrical properties are identical.
Q3: What is the difference between 330104 and 330101?
A: 330104 uses a Metric thread (M10×1), whereas 330101 uses an English/Imperial thread (3/8-24 UNF). Their mechanical housing dimensions are different and they cannot be cross-installed.
Q17: What is the maximum tightening torque for the M10×1 case threads?
A: The maximum recommended torque is 7.3 N·m (65 in·lb). Overtightening can strip the machine housing threads or crush the internal wiring inside the probe body.
