The Bently Nevada 3300 NSv Proximity Probe is a high-precision vibration and displacement measurement sensor designed for rotating machinery monitoring. It is mechanically and electrically compatible with the previous 3300 RAM proximity probe and extension cable, making it interchangeable for existing installations.

The 3300 NSv probe offers enhanced chemical resistance compared to the 3300 RAM probe, making it suitable for demanding applications such as process compressors. It also provides superior side-view characteristics compared to the 3000-series 190 probe, ensuring better accuracy when gapped at the same distance from the target.

This probe is available in various configurations, including armored and unarmored probe cases with 1/4-28, 3/8-24, M8X1, and M10X1 thread options. The reverse mount version comes standard with 3/8-24 or M10X1 threads.

For secure and reliable connections, the 3300 NSv system uses gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors, which lock into place to prevent loosening. The patented TipLoc molding ensures a strong bond between the probe tip and body, while the CableLoc design provides 220 N (50 lb) of pull strength, securing the probe cable to the tip.

To maintain signal integrity, connector protectors are recommended for the probe-to-extension cable and extension cable-to-Proximitor Sensor connections, preventing liquid ingress. Silicone tape is also provided as an alternative but is not recommended for applications exposed to turbine oil.
