The 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor shares similar features with the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximitor Sensor. Its thin design makes it suitable for mounting in both high-density DIN-rail installations and traditional panel mount configurations. It also offers improved RFI/EMI immunity, which enables the sensor to meet European CE mark approvals without special mounting requirements. This enhanced immunity helps protect the system from interference caused by nearby high-frequency radio signals.

The 3300 NSv probe is available in several configurations, including armored and unarmored cases with probe threads of 1/4-28, 3⁄8-24, M8X1, and M10X1. The reverse mount version comes standard with either 3⁄8-24 or M10X1 threads. The transducer system's components feature gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors, which lock securely into place to prevent the connection from loosening. The TipLoc molding method ensures a strong bond between the probe tip and its body. Additionally, Bently Nevada’s CableLoc design provides 220 N (50 lb) of pull strength to securely attach the probe cable.

It is recommended to use connector protectors for both the probe-to-extension cable connection and the cable-to-Proximitor Sensor connection. These protectors help prevent liquids from entering the ClickLoc connectors, which could otherwise negatively impact the electrical signal.

Notes:

Proximitor Sensors are factory calibrated to AISI 4140 steel by default, but calibration to other target materials is available upon request.

Silicone tape is provided with each 3300 NSv extension cable and can be used as an alternative to connector protectors. However, silicone tape is not recommended for applications where the probe-to-extension cable connection will be exposed to turbine oil.
